MIAM

£100 Per Client

A MIAM (Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting) is an initial session where a qualified mediator explains the mediation process and assesses whether it’s appropriate for resolving family disputes, such as issues involving separation, children, or finances, without going to court. The meeting provides an opportunity to discuss your situation and explore whether mediation could help you reach an agreement. In most cases, attending a MIAM is a legal requirement before applying to court, unless specific exemptions apply, such as in cases of domestic abuse
